Anti-Black Racism 101: Stop Canadiansplaining

  1. Hi Chelby: Really well written and eye opening. I try not to Canadiansplain, but as a white Canadian, even if I keep my opinions to myself, I know I harbour some of the smug attitudes you call out.

  2. Excellent post. I remember learning to Canadiansplain at home and in school, especially in social studies/history classes, where Canadian racism was always compared favourably to American racism, as though that made the Canadian variant excusable.

    Thanks for sharing.
